Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

Your cancellation rights under Norwegian law — Angrerettloven

If you buy goods or services from us at a distance (for example online), you have a statutory right to cancel under the Norwegian Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven). This page explains how that works in plain language.

Your 14-Day Cancellation Right

For distance sales and sales outside fixed business premises, you normally have 14 days to cancel without giving a reason, under Angrerettloven and the Information and Cancellation Regulations (Forskrift om opplysningsplikt og angrerett mv.).

To cancel within the deadline, send us a clear, unequivocal statement before the 14 days are up. You can use the standard form below, or send us an email or letter with the same information. Meeting the deadline is sufficient if you send your notice before the period expires — for example by email or post.

We will send you confirmation of receipt of your cancellation without undue delay.

Standard Cancellation Form (Angreskjema)

Under Angrerettloven, businesses must make the official standard withdrawal form (Angreskjema) available to customers. The form is published by the Norwegian Ministry of Children and Families (Barne- og familiedepartementet) via the national forms archive (SignForm).

Important: If a business does not provide this form, the customer's cancellation period may automatically be extended from 14 days to 12 months. We provide the form link below so you can exercise your rights within the normal 14-day period.

Where to Send Your Completed Form

Fill in the Angreskjema and send it to us using the business details above. You may also cancel by email — as long as your message clearly states that you wish to withdraw from the agreement.

What Happens After You Cancel

Refund

If you cancel within the deadline, we will refund all payments received from you, including standard delivery costs (if any), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we received your cancellation notice.

We use the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you clearly agree otherwise. We will not charge you any fees for the refund.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have supplied evidence that you have sent them back — whichever is earlier.

Returning Goods

If you have received goods and cancel, you must return them without undue delay and no later than 14 days after notifying us. You bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we have offered to collect them at our expense, or we failed to inform you that you must bear return costs.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics, and function — in other words, you may inspect the goods as you would in a shop, but not use them extensively before returning.

Services and Digital Content

If you asked us to begin a service during the cancellation period, you may still cancel — but you may owe a proportionate amount for services already performed if you gave prior express consent and acknowledgement that you would lose your right of withdrawal once the service was fully performed.

For digital content not supplied on a physical medium, the right of withdrawal may be lost if you consented to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you thereby lose your cancellation right, as permitted by Angrerettloven.

Exceptions — When Cancellation Does Not Apply

Under Angrerettloven § 22 and related rules, the right of withdrawal does not apply to certain agreements, including (among others):

If you are unsure whether an exception applies to your order, contact us before purchasing.

Pre-Contract Information

Before you enter into a distance contract, we will provide the information required by Norwegian law, including our identity and organisasjonsnummer, total price including taxes, delivery arrangements, payment terms, your cancellation rights, and any return costs. This information is part of our commitment under Angrerettloven and the cancellation regulations.
